The Encounter is more than just a combination delay and reverb effects pedal--it is a fully loaded vessel of atmospheric discovery, thoughtfully designed to explore swirling celestial tones and deeply immersive soundscapes. The pedal features a control surface similar to Source Audio's now-legendary Collider Delay+Reverb, but while the Collider focused on classic sounds, the Encounter offers a wide-ranging collection of otherworldly and never-before-heard delay and reverb effects.

All six delay and six reverb engines can be used individually or in pairs (that includes dual delay or dual reverb combinations) with full MIDI functionality and stereo ins & outs. Routing options include series, parallel, or split stereo. Each footswitch engages or disengages its own effect, essentially providing the functionality of two separate pedals in one unit. It is also compatible with Source Audio's free Neuro 3 software for iOS, Android, macOS, and Windows. Prior to owning the Encounter, anyone can experience its sounds with the Neuro 3 Editor and its SoundCheck feature, which lets users preview and create pedal presets using only a phone or computer.

Combine Any Two Reverb and Delay Effects
Run any of Encounter's delay and reverb effects individually or in pairs with series, parallel, or split stereo routing.

Dual Signal Processing
The pedal includes two identical 56-bit signal processors for massive processing power, essentially housing both a high-powered delay pedal and reverb pedal in a single box.

Simple User Interface
When the knobs toggle switch is on DELAY, all knobs control the delay, including the effect selection wheel. When the toggle is set to REVERB, all the knobs control the reverb. When the toggle is set to LOCK, accidental knob bumps will not alter any sounds.

Run Dual Delay or Dual Reverb Effects
To run two delay or two reverb effects at once, press and hold the CONTROL INPUT button, then turn the Effect Selector knob. This "opens" the Effect Selector, letting you load delay or reverb engines to either side of the pedal.

Experience Encounter Before Owning the Pedal
Use Neuro 3's SoundCheck feature to hear and create Encounter presets using only a phone or desktop computer. SoundCheck includes pre-recorded guitar, bass, keyboard, or drum clips that can be played through a perfect recreation of the pedal. Make parameter changes in Encounter's Neuro Sound Editor and hear them back in real-time.

128 User Presets
Save up to 8 presets recallable via the pedal's onboard controls plus an additional 120 presets accessible via MIDI program change (PC) messages.

Stereo Input and Output Jacks
Choose from mono, stereo, and dual mono.

Dedicated Footswitches
The left footswitch is the ON/OFF for the delay. The right footswitch is the ON/Off for the reverb. The left switch also provides tap tempo when the delay is engaged.

Universal Bypass
Select either analog buffered or relay based true bypass.

Analog Dry Through
The dry signal is routed around the signal processor for a completely unaffected dry tone (available only with Parallel Routing).

100% Wet Option
A dry kill option for use in effects loops.

Complete MIDI Functionality
Engage any or the Encounter's 128 preset or control any of its adjustable parameters with external MIDI messages. Includes 5-pin MIDI DIN input and through jacks.

Expression Control
Assign expression control to any combination of knobs and program the depth and direction of each.
