Seagull Entourage Rustic Mini Jumbo Acoustic Guitar

Strum with the tonal richness and depth of a jumbo-style acoustic. This Seagull includes a cedar top, wild cherry back & sides, and cream double binding.

The Seagull Entourage guitars offer an exceptional value for players of all levels. These finely crafted Canadian made instruments feature select pressure tested solid cedar tops, wild cherry back & sides, cream double binding and the Rustic Burst custom polished finish. Also, similar to the S6 Slim, the Entourage models feature the Seagull Slim neck with a 1.72-inch nut width, which is great for players who are more accustomed to a more traditional nut width.

Select Pressure Tested Solid Tops

Each solid top is pressure tested to ensure its highest level of rigidity and stiffness along with maximum harmonic vibration. This benefits the overall tone, projection and resonance which in turn benefits the player and increases the lifespan of the guitar.

Adirondack Spruce Bracing

The Strength and lightweight qualities of Adirondack spruce make for ideal bracing material. It provides the strength needed to resist string tension without weighing down the top, allowing it to be more responsive and vibrate freely.

Custom Polished Finish

Reminiscent of the French polish of the 19th century, this finish gives the semi gloss a gorgeous satin sheen and the high gloss a lustrous shine as well as accentuating the natural wood grain of the instrument. More importantly, the Custom Polished finish allows the top to breathe and vibrate freely bringing out the true tone of the wood. This in turn promotes the ever important process, known as "aging", in which the guitar will read more actually sound better the more it is played over time.

Compound Curve Tops

Slightly arching the top above the sound hole resists downward pressure created by the fingerboard and increases the structural integrity of the top.

Integrated Set Neck System

The Integrated set neck system allows for more consistent and stable action while significantly reducing warping and twisting of the neck, largely attributed to changes in climate.

Tapered Headstocks

Provides straight string pull, which makes tuning and staying in tune much easier. Also great for open tunings.

Double-Action Truss Rods

The rod bends in both directions, which provides unprecedented control over the neck.

Let me start by saying what guitars I've owned personally, then I'll let you know how the tone, craftsmanship & value stacks up. I've owned Gibson, Martin, Larrivee, Breedlove, Alvarez, & Yamaha, all acoustic or acoustic electric. The seagull stacks up VERY favorably with those guitars in the tone category. It tends to have a very dynamic punchy mid reminiscent of a Gibson. It does not have the super boomy low like the Martins, yet it is very balanced & present. For the money you'll have a very, very hard time beating or matching the quality of tone. The guitar resonates for ever, much like a Breedlove & the body tends to vibrate, which really punches out that sound. It's excellent when strummed & played finger style, I put a Baggs ibeam active pickup in & it sounds true. If you had your eyes closed you'd figure this was a $1,500 guitar. So for value I just really don't think you can beat this, that's my opinion, but I've owned a lot, I play live weekly, & all I use is acoustic. Craftsmanship is great. I'd recommend 4-5 days to fully acclimate.. They're built in Canada, so dependent on where you live, the temp & humidity may be very different. Mine needed a few cranks on the truss, but I live in Texas, so it's understandable. Great guitar, great craftsmanship, great value...
