I wanted an entry-level 7 string and this Schecter does not disappoint. Everything about it is spot-on, exactly what I expected. The pick-ups even exceed my expectations, I was planning on replacing them but they are great and I've never had pick-ups with this much sustain, they really sing and perfect for grinding metal too. I bought it here on Zzounds and it arrived in just 3 short days with no issues. If I had to nitpick about this near-perfect guitar...I have been buying and using Schecters for 15 years and I would not guess this one is made of Mahogany. It just lacks the same weight of every other Mahogany Schecter I have held. That said, it's comfortable I'm sure it will bring a lifetime of 7 string fun.
