This guitar is amazing. It came perfectly set up out of the case. I've never played a guitar with such clarity.
Sound
This thing sounds amazing. From prog metal/djent to clean blues tones. The bridge pup puts out hot lead and crunchy tones. The neck pup sounds buttery and fluid with a deep warm tone.
Features
The hardware on this guitar caught my eye immediately. The tuners are solid and accurate. The smoked grey/black effect is beautiful. I can tell I shouldn't have to worry about snapping strings while palm muting on this guitar. The saddles have a nice rounded shape to them.
Ease of Use
I've played an Ibanez Iceman for the past 8 years and was worried about getting a new guitar from a different company. I'm glad I chose Schecter. I can play anything I used to play with ease on this guitar.
Quality
This is a solid guitar. Structurally the guitar is solid and well built. There were a couple of cosmetic issues i.e. a smeared fretmarker dot on the top of the 19th fret. A small scratch (probably from when the strings were going on) on the headstock.
Value
Well priced guitar
