Hey everybody, this is Justin at zZounds and these are some things to know about the Schecter Avenger FR S 50th Anniversary. This is a really cool guitar. Obviously for the anniversary, they updated it with some cool additions, one of which is the ebony fretboard. If you see the back of the neck, you’ll notice it also has a maple, walnut, and padauk wood orientation, which makes it very interesting.
The best thing to know about this is that it comes with a Sustainiac circuit, and that’s what these switches are at the back here. This is kind of an on-off switch, and this is a three-position switch for different modes that let you get different harmonics using the Sustainiac. That’s basically like an infinite sustain circuit, so you can hold a note, engage the Sustainiac, and that note will basically ring indefinitely because of the circuit. That is the most important part about this to know before you buy it.
It also has an anniversary edition of the Sunset Strip pickup in the bridge. Those are some cool things to know about the Schecter Avenger FR S 50th Anniversary.
