Overview
Developed in collaboration with Animals as Leaders founder Tosin Abasi, the Sterling by Music Man 7-string Kaizen brings the innovative design of the original Ernie Ball Music Man model to a fixed standard scale. Its lightweight, contoured body and roasted maple neck provide ergonomic comfort and smooth playability across all 24 frets. Outfitted with Steinberger Gearless Tuners, a floating tremolo, and uncovered ceramic humbuckers, it's ultra-modern in both sound and style -- complete with a color-matched headstock and two bold matte finishes.

Got my Kaizen in good condition, with a decent out of box setup. It plays well and stays in tune ok considering the trem. Expect to adjust the tuning regularly until the trem springs are adjusted to your preference. The electronics sounds good, with extra emphasis on the middle position pickup selection, that seems to use a coil from each humbucker for a nice coil-tap tone, as far as I can tell without researching. I consider it a value for the money as well, as it comes with some cool tuners, a decent full dive trem, roasted neck, and overall good ergonomics. I’d personally prefer a 5-way selector for the coil tap feature, but honestly the
