"Great Quality/Great Price!"

Overall: 4.5 out of 5 stars
(see rating details)
I have fallen in love with this board and would replace it instantly if it was lost or stolen. If I worked in a studio or heavily depended on a sequencer I'd think differently. But I gig live every weekend and often am asked for songs that I'd done one or two years ago. The GW-7's layers, splits, and tweakability make it seems as if we'd planned to play that tune all along. If versatility is key, this is the answer.

Sound
The sounds on this board are unbelievable and was a major factor in my purchasing it. They are great overall but the XP brass patches are so real that its scary; if you close your eyes you can almost forget its a keyboard! I play mostly live Urban Contemporary Gospel/Worship & Praise and this board's sounds are a perfect fit. Any tweaking can be done real-time from the of the board, sweet!

Features
D-beam - cool. Save 10 fav patches for 1-button recall - great. Real-time sound tweaking ability - outstanding. USB storage - useful. Fly wheel - bad; hard to find specific patches. Sequencer - very bad; can be mastered but you must be patient. Previous sequencer experience will not help you. Display does not give you sequencer info and it initially record tracks where it wants to and you sort of have to find which track was used or guess.

Ease of Use
Switching patches live is almost impossible unless you've saved your 10 favs tot he recall buttons. Analog modifying read more is the easiest I've seen since the Karma and, except for the sequencer, is easy to use and incorporate into band/live/studio setting.

Quality
This board looks cool and stands out with its compact profile. I especially like the mirror finish around the display panel; it doesn't do anything but look cool. I take it to rehearsals twice a week and perform on Sat and Sun. It's way tougher than it looks.

Value
Definitely worth the price paid!

Manufacturer Support
No issues yet that required cuastomer support( knock on wood, or formica as it were)!

The Wow Factor
Very smart product to get outstanding sounds and live versatility for a small price.
