Reverend Airwave Electric Guitar, 12-String (Left-Handed)

zZounds Gear Experts Say...
The left-handed Reverend Airwave is soaring with lush 12-string tone -- boasting a korina body that adds an extra layer of sweetness to its shimmering sound.

What's special about this item?

Feature: What it does:
Korina body Very warm, lively, and balanced tonewood
Solid spruce top Punchy, articulate and warm sound
Rosewood fretboard Open, warm tone and smooth playing feel
Treble bleed circuit Preserves high frequencies as volume rolls down

Larger than life tone and style, not larger than life problems. The bridge is fully intonatable for all 12 strings - independently - chords are always in tune and sound sweeter than you'd expect. The wide nut provides spacing for the extra strings, and the shorter 24-3/4" scale length provides lower string tension. Easier chording means it's easier to get that shimmer.

Features:

- Left-handed orientation
- Medium-lightweight & highly-resonant body
- Wide nut ensures natural spacing for all 12 strings
- Korina body with 5pc Korina/Walnut neck
- Rosewood fretboard with 12" radius
- Reverend P9A Pickups
- Shorter scale length for increased playability
- Unique bridge allows you to intonate each string individually
- Equipped with treble bleed circuit & passive bass contour

Custom Pickups
Reverend designs proprietary custom pickups, to achieve the best tonal match with their instruments. Reverend pickups are also specifically designed for each position, for balanced volume and tone when switching.

Five-Piece Korina and Walnut Neck
Multiple layers make the neck extra strong, and able to withstand the pressure of twelve strings, yet the Korina means the neck is lightweight.

Korina Body
Korina (aka White Limba) is a medium-lightweight wood, highly prized for consistency and tonal qualities. Often found in boutique and vintage instruments, all Reverends feature Korina bodies. A highly resonant wood, Korina is a key factor to producing lively, responsive instruments that are read more rich in harmonics.

Bass Contour
This passive bass roll-off is great for tightening up the low end, or re-voicing the pickups. It can make a humbucker sound like a single-coil, or give a P-90 that classic twang. Variable pickup voicing at your fingertips!

Treble Bleed Circuit
All Reverend guitars have a treble bleed circuit, preserving the treble when you roll back the volume control. When you roll back a standard volume control, the tone loses treble and becomes dull sounding. Now you can turn down and still sound great!
