This filled a niche role for me.Usually I install Schaller S Locks on my electric guitars.I was gifted a new Epiphone Les Paul Standard, my other electrics are Gibsons, and S Locks have an integrated shank on them that can’t be removed from the strap lock that mounts to the body of the guitar. That shank works great on my Gibson guitars but thr Epiphone came stock with smaller diameter mounting screws than my Gibsons, and I didn’t want to wallow out the holes, so I bought these. It comes with everything you need but I used the original screws from the Epiphone to make certain that the original holes remained intact.Depending on how tight the holes on your guitar strap are, you might want to insert the new pin into the strap holes then install the screws and felt washers into the guitar. My set of pins came with black felt washers so I kept the white spacers on my guitar to match its color scheme.
