PreSonus TubePre Version 2 Microphone Preamplifier

Add tube tone to your tracks with the PreSonus TubePre Version 2 microphone preamp. Tweak separate Drive and Gain knobs to get gentle warmth or full-on fuzz.
Twist the TubePre V2 Drive saturation control and add the "color" that only a hand-selected 12AX7 vacuum tube can deliver -- from gentle warmth to total fuzz. Unlike other compact tube preamps, TubePre V2 starts with the low noise, high headroom Class A XMAX preamp input stage found in their premium interfaces and digital mixers. Discrete components and high-voltage operation deliver best-in-class dynamic range and detail not found in other single-channel tube preamps.

For a simple straight forward mic or instrument preamp this is a huge bang for the buck. I'm very pleased.. Currently I operate a small project studio and this was a great addition for recording. the difference in sound quality with going through this preamp is awesome. I have a 2 channel interface and a DAW. Now adding the Preamp by PreSonus into the signal path before the interface gave me a much high quality of signal and sound. By the way, the condenser mic I have came free with the purchase of the DAW software so that should tell you this preamp does an excellent job on even the least expensive Mic
