Overview
The popular Studio Elite CS series comes with many of the professional features found on Pintech's higher-end kits such as ConcertCast drums with woven heads, a dual zone snare, an upright style kick drum, dual zone Studio Elite hi-hat with choke, new dual zone chokable 14 in. Zenbal e-cymbals, a full range hi hat controller, all necessary arms, clamps, cables, module mount and the RK-T aluminum/composite rack system.

Pintech Warranty
Pintech, Inc. warrants its products against defects in material and workmanship for an initial period of one year from date of consumer purchase. Should any item fail during this period, Pintech, Inc. will repair or replace defective items free of charge. After the initial 1-year warranty, Pintech, Inc. will repair or replace any defective item for a processing fee of $10.00 per item ($5.00 for RS-5 and AP-10) for the lifetime of the product. read less

"Wouldn't trade them for Rolands..."
I have been supplementing my set with more Pintech and Roland gear as needed. Roland gear has only been purchased at firesale prices...for the most part I stick with Pintech. I did purchase some rim silencers (SilenTrims) to give it a more "Roland-ish" look, and to silence my poor aim :-(
Sound
I use two of these sets, one for my church and one for my Christian rock band. I have expanded both to have additional cymbals and an additional tom each. The dynamic response sent to the TD-8 is fabulous! The portability and quick setup time are to be admired, as well. The whole thing fits in the trunk of my Chrysler Sebring, without having to disassemble the whole rack (only removing toms and folding in wings). The bands I perform with LOVE them, because they can turn down the drum volume. Doh!
Features
High quality parts that require some maintenance, nonetheless. These kits are easy on the sticks, as well, as I haven't broken a stick (other than losing a vinyl tip) since I started playing my Pintech's over a year ago. I went for some off-brand, single mesh heads for replacements, but I'll probably stick with double-mesh brand names from now on (Pintech or Roland).
Quality
One problem, resolved quickly by Pintech. These kits are rugged...have made many road trips over the last year.

Can't beat the price. After sitting at some Roland and Ddrum… read more sets, I see no reason to fork over the premium...
