zZounds Gear Experts Say...
The PRS S2 Standard 24 sports versatile 58/15 "S" humbuckers, a Pattern Thin neck for easy playing in any style, and a naturally beautiful open-grain finish.

What's special about this item?

Feature: What it does:
Pattern thin neck Flat profile for easy, fast playing
Mahogany body Rich, warm, focused sound; added sustain
Rosewood fretboard Open, warm tone and smooth playing feel
PRS 58/15 LT humbuckers Lower number of turns for PAF clarity and warmth

The S2 Standard 24 Satin is a different approach to a timeless classic. The original PRS Standard, introduced in 1987 evolved from Paul Smith's pre-factory all-mahogany guitars. The S2 Standard 24 Satin with a Pattern Thin neck carve takes that classic platform and reimagines it for the modern player. While the sleek satin nitro finish and pickguard-mounted electronics will have you looking good, the covered 58/15 LT pickups and 3-Way Blade Switch will have you covered sonically. On stage or in the studio, the resonance of the all-mahogany satin body will shine through your amp or pedalboard. Comes in a premium PRS gig bag.
