zZounds Gear Experts Say...
For the ultimate in style and sound, you can't go wrong with this limited-edition PRS Special semi-hollow, proudly featuring a gorgeous figured maple 10-Top.

What's special about this item?

Feature: What it does:
Mahogany body Rich, warm, focused sound; added sustain
Maple top Long sustain with crisp, bright tone
Rosewood fretboard Open, warm tone and smooth playing feel
PRS 58/15 pickups Vintage-inspired full, articulate tone

The foundation of the Special Semi Hollow LTD guitar is very much like a Custom 22 but the versatile electronics truly carry it to new sonic territory. The PRS Special Semi-Hollow makes its debut at Experience PRS 2018. This guitar features a maple top, mahogany back, 22-fret 25” scale length mahogany neck, rosewood fretboard, Phase III tuners, and PRS Gen III patented tremolo. It comes in a high quality hardshell PRS case.

The PRS Special Semi-Hollow Limited Edition guitar with a 10-Top Black Gold Burst finish offers players a versatile hum/single/hum configuration with two PRS 58/15 LT humbuckers and a PRS Narrowfield middle pickup. The 58/15 LT’s offer all the tone of the originals while compensating for volume loss when split to single coils. The Narrowfield pickup delivers the bite of a single coil – without the hum but with plenty of clarity and punch. Paired with a 5-Way blade switch and two mini-toggles that tap the humbuckers, this guitar can handle a myriad of sounds and styles, and the semi-hollow body with single f-hole provides a welcome airiness and depth to the guitar’s tone.
