Overview

The PRS SE NF3 is a distinct guitar in the PRS lineup. The heart of this guitar is a trio of PRS Narrowfield pickups, a first for the SE Series. Supporting these pickups is a poplar body, 22-fret bolt-on maple neck, and a maple fretboard. The SE NF3 is a versatile workhorse guitar that is fun to play and hard to put down. The Narrowfield DD (Deep Dish) "S" pickups are made with taller bobbins to fit more winds and extra metal pieces in between the magnets for a more focused, powerful tone. Anchored with PRS's patented tremolo, this guitar can bend and flutter with ease.

Perfect for rock, blues, gospel, country, or jazz the PRS SE NF3 can punch, cry, lay down, or sing - as you like it.

i deal with zZounds and did not buy one of these from them. Got the nf3 gunmetal grey rw board, on a trade. No reviews on it so thought i would write one. THIS GUITAR IS REALLY GOOD!!!! Got that outa da way LOL!! Was intrested when they came out but thought it may not suit me, as i dont really like single coils unless it is hss. These nf pickups are super clear, articulate, an punchy. Wonderful cleans, take drive well, and allarounder pickups. Did not expect to like this se as much as i do. Two of my buddies are buying one cuz i wont part with mine. As with most se, well worth the coin. The narrowfields are humbuckers, but they quack in 2/4 position and have alot of clairty.
