Following from the success of his Signature edition Crush bass 50 combo, Orange announces the Glenn Hughes Signature O Bass, again in a striking purple finish.

Upgrades from the standard O Bass include a Seymour Duncan SPB-1 Bass Pickup installed and Chequerboard binding around the body and headstock for a classic and distinctive feel and look.

I always think that “normal” basses can’t handle being picked hard for hard rock or heavy metal. There is something about the “slightly wider than usual” neck that can handle anything and everything. I was afraid the finish being the neck would be a bother when one sweats, but last weekend I played a gig that was beyond humid and the finish was not a bother at all. Love this bass. Punchy, clean, and overall a killer bass.
