Overview

The Nord Electro 7 elevates the Electro series with a powerful Synth Section, dedicated per-section effects, and a refined panel design with a high-resolution color display. Combining Nord's piano features with the acclaimed Organ and Rotary Speaker from the Nord Organ 3, the Electro 7 offers exceptional versatility in a lightweight, stage-ready instrument.

The Organ Section is built on the Nord Organ 3 engine, with B3, B3 Bass, Soft B3, Vox, Farfisa and Pipe models at full polyphony. Physical drawbars with LED indicators make tone shaping hands-on, while B3 percussion, Vibrato/Chorus with a B3 Deep mode and three tonewheel modes cover the classic details. The Rotary Speaker emulation offers Close, Wide and XY mic positions, a Tube Drive control and an adjustable stop angle.

The Piano Section is compatible with the Nord Piano Library, with sounds organized into Grand, Upright, Electric, Digital/Layer, Clav/Harpsichord and Misc/Mallet categories. String Resonance, Timbre settings, Dynamic Compression and Unison help each piano sit in the mix, backed by 120 voices of polyphony. The Synth Section combines samples from the Nord Sample Library with analog waveforms and FM synthesis, adding a resonant low-pass filter, Amp and Filter/FM envelopes, Mono, Legato and Glide, Unison and a dedicated Vibrato button.

Every section gets its own effects chain: two Mod effects, five amp models, a 3-band EQ with sweepable mid, a delay with Analog mode and Ping Pong, and a compressor.
