Designed for those that have fallen in love with the look of Martin's 15 Series solid mahogany guitars, this small bodied X Series Martin OX2MAE features mahogany high-pressure laminate (HPL) top, back and sides, a herringbone applied rosette, a high performance neck and a Forestry Stewardship Council (FSC) Certified Richlite fingerboard and bridge. This guitar is road ready and built to last.

"Great sounding lil guitar"

Let me start by saying, I've owned tons of big name expensive guitars, and all of them acoustic, I don't play electric. The reason I bought this was because it actually has scalloped X bracing. I had an LX1E, hate it, it sounded horrible, like a play toy, or worse, but I knew that was because of its size. So I took a chance on this guitar, I'm glad I did. It really sounds good, it's not boomy, but it is very articulate. Heaps better than the LX1 series & I can use it outside, which is why I bought it. I had a GS mini mahogany, the bridge started to lift so I got rid of it, this is every bit a comparable guitar to the gs, yet way more durable. Great tone, great action, good experience from zZounds.
