I am sue this will be my last acoustic so I wanted one that will last, has the sound, the name and excellent quality. I got it all. I will at some time have a Fishman Installed so I can plug in, but no hurry. I lost or stolen I would replace with another Martin like model.
Sound
May not be top of the line Martin but the sound is there!!Deep Lows a very nice accoustic ring to the tone. This OM1 was exactly what I was looking for..
Features
Came with a hard shell case and end strap pin. Pretty Basic.
Ease of Use
Took it out of the box and case, tuned it and started playing. Set up was perfect.
Quality
I am thinking I would have liked a gloss finish than the Satin I have, but I am sure I will get used to it. This guitar is made very well all joints match and very solid. I do not plan on a rough life for this guitar but I am sure it would take it if needed.
Value
Good Price and Came with a Hard Case, nothing else. I think it was priced right. This is a new Model and time will tell. I wanted the smaller OM1 body so I am satisfied.
Manufacturer Support
A nine only due to never used them. There is enough History with Martin that I am sure they stand behind their product.
The Wow Factor
I waited for two months until they came in. It was the only Acoustic I was going to buy. It was well worth the wait. Sounds and plays so nice.
