Overview
The 14-fret cutaway on this Grand Performance model is striking, but it's the back and sides that really grab your attention. They're made from a fine veneer of ziricote a tonewood with a deeply layered grain that has a mesmerizing mix of light tones and dark veins and a majestic, cathedral-like look. Of playing guitar constantly and owning over50 guitars I have finally found the only acoustic guitar that produces the tone I have heard in my head since I started playing in 1962.Right out of the box the action, the feel, the tone, the resonance and sustain were perfect. Mine has the 0 kotei back inside and is it not only incredible to look at it also as the most perfect fit and finish I have seen on any guitar I have owned no matter the price.
