A New Take on a Classic Design

The term "stage coach" in the name of this model refers to the legendary parlor-style guitars Martin developed in the mid-19th century. In designing the guitar with Martin, John Mayer envisioned a lost custom 00-45 from Martin's history emblazoned with finely detailed nuances and flourishes. To meet this vision, Martin has included a gorgeous headstock with engraved tuners on the side. The inlays are crafted from Blue Paua pearl as is the rosette which Mayer specified to form a circle going on top of the fretboard to highlight the rich character and refined beauty of the design.
