It all started with a shipment of extraordinary burl maple. Michael Kelly saw this wood and knew they had to design a guitar around it, so they did. The Burl Burst collection is available in their 50s series as well as this elegant Custom Collection 60s model. That burl top is on a korina body, and they came up with a burst finish just to bring out the full potential of that exotic wood. They've accented it all in gold with just enough black. Of course, that appearance is just the start -- they also added great pickups, the in-demand Epic 11 wiring mod, and Medium C neck profile.
