Overview
The 59 Thinline from Michael Kelly Guitars strikes all the right chords visually and sonically. The semi-hollow body design with accompanying f-hole gives this guitar a tone which is immediately coveted and recognizable. The Rockfield P90 pickups provide a detailed mid-range with a warm bass response for a punchy tone. The 59 Thinline can dial in everything from a traditional single coil twang or a thick overdriven
tone.
Chrome hardware and a synthetic graphite nut round out the specs on the 59 Thinline. A roasted jatoba fingerboard provides comfort and playability you can count on. By far the most beautiful top guitar that I own, the spalted maple top is a head turner! overall sound is very articulate with the Rosfield p90s. I tried to determine witch pick up selector position that I liked the best, all three positions are very good! the neck feels good with the modern C shape and the Jatoba fretboard is beautiful. The tuners are ok for standard tuners and the frets have no sharp edges and look good. set up was great out of the box, so pleased with it. Would I replace it with another one if something happened to it? heck yes!!!
