A small bodied guitar that produces a remarkably full sound, the Martin OM-35E Orchestra Acoustic-Electric Guitar adds a stage ready non-cutaway OM to our Standard Series. This acoustic-electric orchestra model features a solid Sitka spruce top, East Indian rosewood sides and three piece back, black ebony fingerboard and bridge and a matching black pickguard.

The new Martin OM-35E guitars now feature two different pickup and electronics options, the Fishman Aura VT and the LR Baggs Anthem system.

Fishman Aura VT Enhance Electronics

Just when you thought it couldn’t get any better, Martin introduces the new Fishman Aura VT Enhance electronics, the perfect addition to elevate the legendary Martin tone you’ve come to love and expect. The systems are unobtrusive with no control holes cut into the side of the guitar and also easy to use with Volume, Tone and Enhance Blend controls mounted inside the soundhole. The resulting quality meets the Martin standard of excellence with an unmatched responsiveness to touch and playing. Fishman’s new Enhance Transducer is designed to capture the longitudinal energy of the guitar top while resisting the transverse energy that manifests in string squeak, body handling noise, and parasitic feedback. These characteristics are added to the unparalleled audio performance of the Aura VT Enhance with Acoustic Imaging by Fishman.

The Award-winning Anthem series, featuring our patented Tru-Mic technology, seamlessly combines… read more a proprietary condenser microphone with our acclaimed Element pickup to deliver the warmth and fidelity of a studio-mic’d guitar anywhere you perform. At the heart of the Anthem is a revolutionary microphone engineered to capture a dynamic studio-mic’d sound for any live performance. The Tru-Micmounts to the underside of the bridge plate and hovers just 3 mm above its surface to take advantage of the PZM or “boundary” effect. This proprietary mounting system, combined with noise cancellation, frees the mic to perform as if it were outside of the guitar in a studio and maintain remarkable feedback suppression for the stage. The result is a balanced frequency response with excellent clarity for the purest sound you have ever heard amplified.
