hands down the loudest snare drum I have ever owned. Not only does it cut really well. It sounds incredible! Very versatile with its Tuning. I must mention that I swapped out the stock head for an Evans HD Dry. (Best snare head on the market in my opinion) and the rest is history. Definitely worth the money. Just be warned though that this drum really is very seriously LOUD.
