LR Baggs Active Magnetic Soundhole Acoustic Guitar Pickup

Capturing both steel-string and soundboard vibrations, the LR Baggs Active Magnetic Soundhole pickup creates a huge natural sound without annoying feedback.

The LR Baggs M1 Active is a body-sensitive soundhole magnetic pickup designed to fill large arenas and cut through the mix on a loud stage without feeding back. Plug in and you will quickly find that it has never been easier to get a superior live sound from your acoustic guitar! Unlike other soundhole magnetic pickups, the M1 Active captures both string and soundboard vibrations, creating a huge and natural sound from one pickup. The adjustable pole pieces allow for the perfect balance in any acoustic guitar. Feel free to plug directly into your acoustic amplifier or PA system because the built in preamp bypasses the need for additional external preamps. If you are looking to eliminate the trade-off between ease and performance, this is the pickup for you.

This pickup has very true sound. I installed it myself on an old 1975 Gibson J -55,the project went smoothly ,within 20 minutes I was plugged in and playing.Things to remember ,large magnets in the sound hole ,deaden the sound of your strings when playing unplugged .i use a Fender acoustic amp,and the sound is loud without feedback.I found that rolling off the pickup volume, rolls off treble. So I leave the pickup on full and adjust the EQ on the amp.
Sounds very good for a sound hole pic up.Im not having feedback.
Has volume knob
Ease of Use
Plug and play,Easy
You get what you pay for.Its worth it.
