Never lose a new tune, lick, or solo to poor memory again. This recorder, when turned on, records when it hears you play or sing, so you don't even have to press record.

You can't plan for inspiration. It just happens. And in the time it takes to setup recording gear the most inspired musical ideas can be lost forever.

BackTrack insures that your licks, riffs and songs will always be captured. Sitting with you and your guitar, this simple and sleek device is always listening and automatically recording every one of your revelations, epiphanies and great musical ideas.

You never even need to press record, as BackTrack captures audio whenever it hears you play. Always on, add BackTrack to your setup and let it run--on your belt or guitar strap, between your guitar and amp, or anywhere else. Always listening in the background, BackTrack can capture up to 12 hours of stunning audio.

BackTrack is super simple to use. After you play something brilliant, press the "Mark" button to mark that idea as special. Featuring a 1/4-inch output, BackTrack allows for easy instant reviewing of both marked and non-marked ideas.

Saved as .WAV files to a rugged and reliable built-in 1-GB flash memory, the captured audio is easily transferred to a computer via USB 2.0 for storage or further recording, editing or mixing. Plus, the USB connection recharges BackTrack to its full battery capacity of over 8 hours.

Featuring a classic and low-profile look, BackTrack is small and light enough to be forgotten about (until you're incredibly thankful that you have it).

Box includes BackTrack and USB cable.

It's a very handy little thing. As a beginner I find this recorder very helpful, cause I can record up to 12 hours of my playing and than analyze it and work on whatever is wrong. I also try to come up with my own riffs and licks and this device is always captures my best and worst ideas.
Sound
Sound quality is great, it doesn't add digital feel to the sound as some digital recorders do. I usually play in my headphones, so I put this devise after the amp and plug headphones directly into it. That way it captures not only the sound of my pedal, but also the sound of the amp.
Features
That Mark button is great. It allows you to mark your brightest ideas and makes it easier to find them later.
Ease of Use
If you ever owned a CD player or an iPod and you know what the Play and Rewind buttons mean than you'll be fine.
Quality
It's made for good! Looks and feels solid, doesn't feel like it's going to break if you breathe on it.
Value
It's worth much and much more than it costs.

The Wow Factor
Oh yeah, it's appealing. I was going to buy new practice amp, after 3 months of deciding which one I want to buy I finally made my mind. Went to the local store with $100 in my pocket. And then I saw this little thing just sitting on the shelve, fell in love with it and bought it instead of new amp. So now I'm stuck with my crappy amp, but I don't regret buying this recorder.
