The main adapter (MIDI OUT) and sub-adapter (MIDI IN) can be used together or separately to match your setup. If your equipment only has a MIDI OUT terminal, you can use just the main adapter. *The sub-adapter cannot be used on its own.
The adapters are different depths and connected by a flexible cable, making them easy to attach even when the MIDI IN and MIDI OUT jacks are close together or vertically aligned.

Using the dedicated KORG BM-1 App, you can group up to five BM-1 units to send and receive MIDI between them.

When you launch KORG's free music apps KORG Gadget 2 LE or KORG Module with the BM-1 connected, additional gadgets, tracks, and functions become available.

No external power supply or batteries required. The BM-1 runs on 5 V or 3.3 V power supplied via the MIDI OUT terminal of the connected device. There is no need for batteries or charging.
