Alex from zZounds here with some things to know about iZotope Ozone 11.One thing I really like about Ozone 11 is that, although it's a robust mixing and mastering plugin, you can also separate the modules and use them as individual plugins—like inserts on tracks. For example, I have this reverse piano part here with an instance of iZotope’s Vintage Tape plugin running. You can see that I’ve added some automation to the input drive and harmonics in Logic. What this does is excite those harmonics over time, giving a boost towards the end of the region and adding a lot of harmonic content. So yeah, that’s a great way to use one of iZotope’s powerful modules as a simple insert on your track.
