I have a humble semi pro studio and it's in a little two bdr crap shack but it's home! I had to set up in a odd shaped small room and bass frequencies was killing my mixing and the way I heard things in my listening position nothing related, I couldn't afford to treat my dining room in my little apartment but I had to put up some foam to keep down early reflections. Not real studio foam but it did what I intended it to do but w/o bass traps or absorbing panels was not gonna happen even if I built em I couldn't just screw em to a wall I gotta move someday! Then I seen a bunch of videos for IK, ARC Studio and I thought I'd give it a try. It came in less than 24 hrs from zZounds hooked it up with out to many hiccups loaded the arc 4 analyzing software, no problems easy enough.now my expectations were not to positive till I played some songs I recorded years ago and I remixed with the arc system and to say I was blown away is an understatement! My bass signal at around 50-100 Hz was sucking all my mids and high energy in my studio and to compensate my mixes I was cranking up but my mixes sucked, well it took care of my room problems with ease and did all the heavy lifting! My mixes had more perceived Loudness w/o cranking my monitors or excessive compression make up gain my system not only sounds 100% better but just listening to music over streaming or YouTube was blowing my mind! My neighbors thought I got a bigger monitor system or got more wattage but it improved my overall signals… read more significantly! It's the best investment of $300 buck into my humble studio I've ever made highly recommend if you can't record in a high end treated space its studio magic in a box literally!!
