I will keep this bass for a while. I plan on getting another SRX model. The SRX 700 and I will keep this one as a back up. I still like this bass and I still enjoy playing it.

Sound
This bass has a lot to offer for $320.00. It's tone is a little on the harder side of rock but you can dial in some more mellow thump and even a treblely type of sound. With bridge pick up panned all the way up and the bass cut to about half this thing puts out some really cool slap tone. You will not get lost in the mix with this bass. It is a versatal bass but I would not recomend it for more mellow types of music. I think it's a great bass for the money if you are a rocker.

Features
The most usefull features of this bass is the two band EQ and the thumb rests on the pick ups. THe neck is fast and smoothe but some people find it too narrow for their liking. I love it but some people don't. You better try one before you buy it.

Quality
The product is well made. The finish is good. Remember this is a $300.00 bass not a $1,200.00 Music Man or $2,500.00 WArwick. I can only find one very slight flaw on the finish at the neck joint. Other than that the quality of the fit and finish is very good. The pots don't make noise when you operate them. There isn't a lot of noise from the electronics, and it doesn't pick up buzz from stage lights or flourescents.

Value
This read more bass is worth the $320.00 bucks. You get a lot of performance for the money.

Manufacturer Support
I have had no problems with it so I have had no reason to conatct with them. I have had this bass for a year.

The Wow Factor
This bass got my attention bassed on it's looks. I think it's simple and clean looking. I really like the looks of the SRX series basses. This bass a lot better in person.
