25 years & running strong! Ibanez celebrates 25th birthday of SR basses and produced this anniversary limited edition only 400 pieces worldwide. The 5 string SR5XXV features all the key features of SR that you've been experiencing for 25 years. The SR's signature "Slim & Fast" neck is reinforced with durable 5 piece Wenge/Bubinga woods and KTS Titanium reinforcement rods. The sleek, arched Mahogany body with Padauk top provides warmer Mahogany tone with high-density Padauk's additional punch, while maintaining lighter weight than any other traditional basses. The Nordstrand "Big Single" pickups provide full-bodies, powerful, aggressive tonal texture, while still retaining the clarity that's characteristic of single coil pickup. And the active EQB-IIISC 3-band eq features mid-frequency switch and active-passive switch. The SR5XXV comes with deluxe gig bag.
