I have to say that I am an Ibanez fan so this review will have some bias to it but I can say that I ordered another top brand instruments for a little more money and I had to send it back because some of the switches didn't work and it made a lot of noise. I'm sure the noise wasn't from outside sources because my other instruments. So, the craftsmanship was outstanding. I'm a woodworker so I know what to look for. It was immaculate. Not a single gap in any of the wood joinery. Looking at the body from a side angle, it was flat as a piece of glass. The hardware was gorgeous black chrome. The neck was smooth and played like butter. If I hadn't known better I would have thought a plek job was done on this instrument. This Ibanez played great right out of the box. All the tones you could get out of it were awesome. I wish I had more time to tell you more about it but I just don't have the time. If you are looking for a 6 string electric guitar, BUY IT. You won't be disappointed
