A Macassar Ebony fretboard provides a tight low end with a quick response and extreme rigidity. The fretboard is augmented with Jumbo frets dressed with the exclusive Prestige fret edge treatment. The most unique feature about this model is the material on top, Richlite, which is a durable, stable and highly sustainable material made from resin-infused paper. By using this hard material on the body top, we can get an articulated, clear tone and tight sounds for modern metal players.
