Ibanez AE100 Acoustic-Electric Guitar

Ibanez pairs a spruce top with an okoume body to craft this acoustic-electric, complete with an A.I.R.port side soundhole that gives superb sonic feedback.

Born from a long lineage and musical heritage, the acoustic guitar is steeped in tradition. But music continues to evolve, and musicians demand inspiring new tools with which to carve out their own signature sound. In that spirit, Ibanez introduces their flagship AE series of acoustic-electric guitars, offering supreme tone and playability, and representing another great chapter in the acoustic guitar tradition.

Features:

- Comfort Grip Nyatoh neck contour provides superior playability.
- Laurel fretboard provides a rich and warm tone.
- Solid Sitka Spruce top provides an enormous frequency range that offers wave after wave of shimmering highs along with tight mids and a full-bodied low end.
- The Okoume back and sides generate a woody, warm tone when the guitar is played softly or finger-picked and provide punchy high-mids with a clear projection when strummed.
- The Ibanez T-bar Undersaddle pickup accurately translates that full sound to whatever amplification system you plug it into.
- The Ibanez AEQ-TP2 preamp provides the extra punch of on-board EQ along with a convenient and easy-to-read digital tuner and 2-band EQ, located on the instrument's upper bout.
- Lightweight, scalloped bridge improves vibration efficiency for better resonance, as well as providing more flexibility in adjusting the action than usual bridge.
- Ibanez Advantage bridge pins: these pins really are an advantage over old-fashioned pins. Advantage( pins are easier to take out and easier to put read more in than standard pins. A special bulb-shaped end makes the pin easy to grip and also prevents the pin from being pushed in too far. Best of all, with Advantage(TM) the pin and string stay put.
- A.I.R.port
- X-M Bracing: After spending years of trial-and-error, Ibanez realized the out-of-the-box X-M Bracing to generate the ultimate sound standing out on the stage. The carefully designed scalloped X-bracing, the allocation of tone braces, and finger braces transmit the string vibration efficiently through the bridge to the body. The X-M Bracing creates the clear bottom and crispy treble sound with trimmed warm mid-range, yet provides a wide dynamic range and high response.
- AE body shape: Designed for projection, balance, and comfort, the AE's perfectly crafted contemporary body shape offers the best of all worlds.
