"No Beuno just didn't keep drums in place on 2 different surfaces"

I purchased this 2 months ago hoping for less stuff to pack to gigs. I was skeptical and turns out with good reason. I used this twice before learning my lesson. One was engineered simulated smooth wood floor. 1st song my bass drum slid so far out could barely reach the peddle. Every song that set I had to limit how hard I hit bass peddle to keep it from sliding. Every song had to pull BD back in. Switched it out for old rug after 1st set, real pain in the ass. Next gig was a Trex deck at outdoor venue. Same crap with BD sliding to almost unplayable reach during songs. Again lasted 1 set. I've read these other reviews and it's almost like we're talking about a different product. This thing just did not work on a smooth wood floor or the Trex deck I tried it on. No Beuno!
