Marking a century of Gibson flat-top craftsmanship, Gibson Custom introduces the Dove Anniversary Limited Edition. Part of a commemorative series honoring five legendary acoustic models, each offered in a run of just 100 instruments, this remarkable and highly collectible Dove is handcrafted in Bozeman, Montana, and built to inspire musicians today and for generations to come.

This Anniversary edition pairs AA figured maple back and sides with a select bearclaw Sitka spruce top, delivering the unmistakable Dove voice along with striking visual appeal. The back is outlined with multi-ply binding, while the top features multi-ply binding accented with abalone, along with an abalone rosette.

Its mahogany neck is carved to a comfortable Round profile and is topped with a bound rosewood fretboard featuring 20 standard frets and split parallelogram inlays in mother of pearl. The single-ply bound headstock displays the vintage script "The Gibson" logo in mother of pearl and is fitted with a bone nut and gold-plated Grover tuning machines with keystone buttons.

The signature Dove pickguard showcases the classic artwork, including a mother-of-pearl dove inlay. The rosewood Dove bridge continues the theme with two additional mother-of-pearl dove inlays, along with a bone saddle and TUSQ bridge pins.

Finished in a vintage-inspired Cremona Burst gloss nitrocellulose lacquer, the Dove Anniversary Limited Edition… read more comes factory-equipped with L.R. Baggs VTC electronics, featuring an under-saddle piezo pickup and active preamp. Discreetly mounted inside the soundhole, the volume and tone controls provide convenient access while remaining out of the audience's view.
