I just got this guitar today and opened it up just a bit ago. My first reaction is WOW! In terms of quality control this one is perfect. Beautiful finish and smells of rich mahogany. The neck is a touch more rounded than my 2019 60ās Standard and Iām all about it. Wanted something a bit bigger in the neck but Iām personally not a fan of the 50ās neck, at least the ones Iāve played. The guitar is soo resonant! That was the big wonder for me and holy cow it has delivered! I can play this guitar unplugged late at night if need be and still get a strong projecting sound to enjoy. Iāll update this at some point in the future but first impressionā¦. Itās gorgeous, resonant and feels fantastic! Gibson got this one spot on.
Musical Background:
Playing over 20 years
Musical Style:
Blues, rock, some country and a touch of folk I suppose.
