Only a screwdriver is needed to hook up these pickups loaded with the hot, vintage tone that Angus himself uses to power his famous SGs.

The Gibson Quick Connect Angus Young Signature Humbucker Pickup features an Alnico V magnet and special balanced-coil windings using vintage enamel-like coated wiring that delivers a 1-2 combination of punch and vintage tone. Many of the Gibson USA guitars are come wired with the QC Control Panel Assembly needed to install the Quick Connect pickups. Only a screwdriver is required to remove the pickup mounting rings, then simply unplug the current pickup, and plug in your tone!

Control Panel Board Conversion Kits and separate clips are available for quick install with older Les Paul and SG guitars.

This is the pickup that Angus himself plays, and it features shielded, four-conductor wiring for series, parallel or split coil operation. It is also fully wax potted to eliminate any chance of microphonic feedback.
