This amp is very versital and has power in reserves! With the amount of control it has, it can take a while of experimentation to get your tone. It is worth it! I will never need another amp except maybe another for a backup! If you think it is too sterile, try turning up thectube gain and turn the tube channel volume down. That is what a lot of people overlook. It can do warm, modern, and has enough power and low end for anything I could imagine. Have tried a 5-string with it yet, but doubt it will have any issues with extended range instruments at all.
