This LSE technology allows the 8-inch woofer of the 7050C - driven by a powerful Class D amplifier stage -- to move enough volume of air to achieve a maximum SPL of 103 dB: an impressive 3 dB increase over its predecessor, but with total precision and clarity.

The 7050C LSE enclosure is made from a spiral-shaped strip of steel, providing maximal mechanical stability for the large pressures generated inside the subwoofer. The spiral forms the bass reflex port as well, enabling linear air flow even at the highest SPL outputs.

This flow-optimized construction is what enables both low frequency capacity and low distortion performance -- resulting in precise bass articulation right down to 24 Hz.
