Revolutionary simple linear motion design, no frames or cams. Promotes natural ankle motion. Sling style travel bag

The Catapult Linear Motion pedal is designed to provide true response from the players' foot to the playing surface of the bass drum using natural ankle motion thus avoiding muscle fatigue. The mechanical advantage of the design is in harmony with the biomechanics of how the foot wants to work.

Conventional pedal designs utilize frames with cam drives attached to springs. When the player presses down on the pedal board the spring produces resistance, which promotes speed and power. However, in extended playing situations this resistance can cause fatigue to the extensor muscles of the lower leg and foot.

Gibraltar's Catapult Linear Motion pedal was designed to permit the extensor and flexor muscles to function naturally, allowing full range of movement of the muscles and ankle. This results in a remarkable increase in muscle comfort, endurance, and precision in movement. The mechanical advantage of the design is in harmony with the biomechanics of how the foot wants to work.

Buy this Pedal!!!
Sound
The sound of this pedal is pretty good, it is definatly not for people who play any kind of metal, but rather people who play lighter rock, jazz, blues, etc.
Features
I love the bearing system it is very smooth, and the bag that comes with it is very nice. the only drawback with this pedal is that is is very big! this thing is HUGE!!! it sets you back from the set a inch or so more than usual, this could present a problem for set huggers.
Ease of Use
this is very easy to use! if you take one finger with the spring tightened up all the way you can push it all the way down. it is extremely smooth! It will take a little while to get used to it, but once you do you will love it!
Quality
the product is made great, it is made by gibraltar, so you know it is used with the best materials. the only thing that might break on it is the spring when you push down on it the plate that you put your foot on hits the spring.
Value
yes this product is definatly worth the money.
Manufacturer Support
I have not dealt with gibraltar, so i can't honestly answer this.
The Wow Factor
this is probrably one of the pedal's strongest points, it is EXTREMELY SEXY!!!!!
