Fender Custom Shop Limited Edition '59 Journeyman Stratocaster Electric Guitar (with Case)

Fast-playing and comfortable with 1950s Strat sound you know and love, this Fender Custom Shop Limited Edition '59 Stratocaster has a hot-rodded wiring design to deliver's an extra shot of 21st-century attitude. 1959 was a year of transition for the Strat and many guitars exist that show various combinations of evolutionary features that demonstrate these changes didn't happen overnight. Following the same methods as the originals, this guitar body is crafted from alder, and wears a Journeyman Relic lacquer finish that will wear in a distinctively personal way. It bears a "slab" dark rosewood fingerboard with 9.5-radius atop a tinted AA quartersawn flame maple neck with '63 Strat Style "C" Back-Shape.

The trio of Hand-Wound Fat '50s single-coil pickups includes a reverse-wound/reverse-polarity middle pickup to reduce hum and Vintage Modified #2 wiring to offer authentic tone that's easy to refine. Other features include a five-way switch, American Vintage synchronized Tremolo Bridge, vintage-style tuning machines, 3-ply 10-hole Mint Green nitro pickguard, wing string tree and bone nut.
