zZounds Gear Experts Say...
The Fender Kingman SCE offers great tone and feel. With a Solid Spruce top and Fishman electronics, the Fender Kingman SCE is a fine choice.

Oh yes, Fender did! From deep within the cavernous and labyrinthine Research and Development department down at Fender headquarters, we've come up with this totally new take on the acoustic bass guitar-designed for the discerning bassist, yet friendly to guitarists, too. From its Jazz Bass guitar headstock, neck shape, strap button, and machine heads, it feels like home to the electric bassist, but it embodies all the deep and rich tones acoustic players look for. With a solid spruce top, traditional bridge, gold pickguard and lusciously bound fingerboard with eye-catching block position inlays, this bass is destined to make groundbreaking music!

I had hesitation about buying an instrument from China. I love this bass! I plan on keeping this bass. I am switching the bridge pins from plastic to brass.
Sound
Deep bass, bright highs and mids. This is the third acoustic bass I've owned, the others being at least twice the cost of this. This Fender Kingman sounds better.
Features
Great finish, love the traditional Fender headstock and jazz neck. It's a blast to play.
Ease of Use
It's very easy to play, projects well.
Quality
Finish looks great, the frets are perfectly dressed, stays in tune.
Value
This is a steal of a deal for a terrific sounding and feeling bass. I have told others about this bass.
Manufacturer Support
While I have not contacted Fender about this product I have contacted them for other instruments and their response was always quick.
The Wow Factor
This bass looks great, sounds great and is fun to play.
