What's special about this item?

Feature: What it does:
Alder body Light weight with a wide tonal range
Fender Player Series Alnico 5 pickups Crisp and articulate; modern Fender edge
Maple neck Bright tone, full sustain and strength
Pau Ferro fretboard Delivers strong midrange presence and punch

Featuring this classic sound -- bell-like high end, punchy mids and robust low end, combined with crystal-clear articulation -- the fat-sounding Player Stratocaster HSH is packed with authentic Fender feel and style. It's ready to serve your musical vision, it's versatile enough to handle any style of music and it’s the perfect platform for creating your own sound.

Respecting Fender's heritage while maintaining their innovative spirit, the Player Series humbucking pickups sound huge and warm, while the Player Series single-coil middle pickup is crisp and articulate -- it's authentic Fender tone with a modern edge. The "Modern C"-shaped maple neck's comfortable contours and smooth finish are ideal for almost any playing style. By adding a 22nd medium jumbo fret to the contemporary 9.5"-radius fingerboard Fender's made it easier to express yourself musically. The updated 2-point tremolo design has smoother travel for enhanced playing feel while simultaneously giving you rock-solid tuning stability since there's less friction against the posts. Other features include master volume and tone controls, a 5-way pickup switch, 3-ply pickguard, synthetic bone nut, dual-wing string tree, sealed tuning machines and four-bolt "F"-stamped neck plate that marks this instrument as the real deal -- as Fender as it gets.

Own your tone and create something new with the Player Stratocaster HSH.

Gotta love the Pau Ferro fingerboard, very attractive to boot. It fingers much easier than rosewood with a clearer note. The HSH pu's are well done, the bridge set is pure strat, with an ear pleasing semi hollow sound in the neck position, so it gives me two guitar sounds with one guitar. Beautiful cream finish, great electronics...This is the best MIM Fender that I've played in a long time and my thanks goes to Fender for putting out this great guitar.
Sound
It's sound quality is tops, it can play anything that you want to play which fits my style to a tee, really well engineered and very playable. Mine is set up to finger easy with easy picking. The best MIM Strat ever. Very useful sounds coming from the PU's, a well balanced Strat. Tops !!!!
Features
An alder body coupled with the pau ferro fingerboard offer us players the best of the best using 09-42 strings, pretty top notch well made guitar.
Ease of Use
This gem is full of sounds, very flexible.
Quality
Guitar appears well engineered and made, I've had mine only a moth but it feels and seems like it is going to last for the long haul.
Value
Well worth twice the amount, try one and you won't be sorry. Take good care of this gem and it'll pay you back many times over.
Manufacturer Support
Never had to contact Fender, always settled things thru dealer if needed
The Wow Factor
I feel that this is one of the best ever Fender MIM Strats
