Gotta love the Pau Ferro fingerboard, very attractive to boot. It fingers much easier than rosewood with a clearer note. The HSH pu's are well done, the bridge set is pure strat, with an ear pleasing semi hollow sound in the neck position, so it gives me two guitar sounds with one guitar. Beautiful cream finish, great electronics...This is the best MIM Fender that I've played in a long time and my thanks goes to Fender for putting out this great guitar.
Sound
It's sound quality is tops, it can play anything that you want to play which fits my style to a tee, really well engineered and very playable. Mine is set up to finger easy with easy picking. The best MIM Strat ever. Very useful sounds coming from the PU's, a well balanced Strat. Tops !!!!
Features
An alder body coupled with the pau ferro fingerboard offer us players the best of the best using 09-42 strings, pretty top notch well made guitar.
Ease of Use
This gem is full of sounds, very flexible.
Quality
Guitar appears well engineered and made, I've had mine only a moth but it feels and seems like it is going to last for the long haul.
Value
Well worth twice the amount, try one and you won't be sorry. Take good care of this gem and it'll pay you back many times over.
Manufacturer Support
Never had to contact Fender, always settled things thru dealer if needed
The Wow Factor
I feel that this is one of the best ever Fender MIM Strats

"The steel Saddles suck on this guitar!!!"

This is a great guitar but the new vintage saddles the vibration from the strings causes the allen screws to move which changes the string height. putting the guitar out of tune. every 10 minutes I had to retune it. I finally gave up and ordered some graph tech tusq block saddles this fixed it. But I was out $50 because of Fenders poor quality saddles. Your statocasters was so much better with block saddles not this vintage junk. A very disappointed customer.

I have owned 12 strats and various strat types before. Also owned American, PRS, Gibson and Music Mans. After 31 years of playing professionally and semi professionally it takes a lot to impress me. Out of the box this guitar was perfect. Great tones, solid tuning and cosmetics. Ordering was easy and it was at my house in 24 hours. Homerun all around, amazing value for an intermediate or professional. I love this so much I'm ordering a Tele from the same series : ).Buy one now, and make some great music.
