This durable snare head has a tough coating that can take a beating. And if brushes are more your style, the dot is on the underside to stay out of the way.

The 10 mil single-ply Power Center offers durability and focus in the center via a 5 mil patch. Unique slots in the 5 in. diameter dot allow it to flex, keeping the head open at the edges. Moved to the underside, the dot is out of the way for brushes.

Sound
Sound quality is excellent, I use this head if a Remo Coated Black Dot is not available - one item of note: This head takes longer to 'seat' than other heads. I suggest playing on it for a day longer prior to using it on a gig. However, once it is seated in place, the sound is wonderful. I use it on my Ludwig LM402.
Value
This head lasts a good while, you can get many gigs out of it (unless you're a basher).
