Anchored by a resonant mahogany body, the Shapes delivers a massive tone that nods to the original instrument Eddie Van Halen played on the 1981 Fair Warning Tour. Eddie's own "Shapes" instrument was one of the pair of guitars he used in Drop D tuning.

The graphite-reinforced quartersawn maple neck features Eddie's signature EVH Modified "C" backshape, paired with a fast-playing 12"-16" compound radius maple fingerboard and 22 jumbo frets. The direct-mount EVH Wolfgang humbucking bridge pickup delivers focused, harmonically rich output, while EVH-branded Gotoh tuners keep you locked in. The EVH Floyd Rose 1000 Series double-locking tremolo lets you dive, flutter, or add subtle vibrato while staying in tune.
