Based on the popular L-00 models of the '30s, the Epiphone EL-00 Parlor is a small-scaled guitar that offers all the tone and playability of its vintage fore-bearers. Frequently associated with the blues legends of the age, the small body of L-00 style guitars produces a tight sound, ideal for finger-picking and slide. With the Epiphone EL-00, all the vintage snap of the parlor style is delivered in an attractive and affordable instrument.

A Blues Classic Reborn

The original depression-era L-00s show up in old-timey photos of some of the most famous bluesmen ever. Legends like Blind Willie Johnson and Robert Johnson appreciated the pointed tone afforded by a compact body design, and the Epiphone El-00 Parlor does an excellent job recreating these prized tonal qualities. Constructed from select tonewoods with a mahogany body and neck, rosewood fingerboard, and solid spruce top, the EL-00 projects with classic clarity. True to the originals, the neck has a rounder "C" profile and is attached using a dovetail style neck-joint for added stability and sustain. Elegantly finished in vintage sunburst, the EL-00 captures a classic look to accompany its classic sound.

The Epiphone EL00 is a fine guitar for the Student or beginner player.

With its small body, the EL00 is the perfect instrument for those situations where a full size instrument isn't practical but full sound is required. Whether you are in your dorm room, living room or bedroom this guitar will play like a charm and keep your fingers in shape. Epiphone cut the size, but didn't cut any corners on the EL00's features -- a solid Spruce top, Mahogany back and sides, 24.75 in. scale, set Mahogany neck, and a beautiful Vintage Sunburst finish.

Ease of Use

Small nut. Very large hands wont fit well. But normal sized hands have no problems.I lowered the saddel and nut and it plays like my 62 gibson melody maker neck. And thats superb!

Quality

Going over the workmanship I found no flaws at all.None. It is a real beauty.That will stand next to any axe in any price range. The sound is not as large as some guitars with large boxes but a set of Martin strings made a large clean sound.If your hands arnt big you will love this Eppi 00
