Look, I know this isn't a high dollar guitar, but it plays like one. My very first Epiphone and my very first SG did not disappoint. First, this was the best set up guitar out of the box I've ever received. The finish is flawless, the strings are decent and the action and intonation was right on. The pots are smooth and noiseless and the switch is solid. And the P90s? That's the reason I wanted to try the Epiphone SG Special and they did not disappoint. Great hard meaty drive and dialed back they are great for jazz and blues. Nearly the perfect guitar for a guy like me.This will not be the last Epiphone I purchase and this will not be the last time I purchase from zZounds, great service and a great guitar. If you're sitting on the fence about buying this guitar, don't wait, this guitar punches way above it's weight class.
