I've owned quite a few Epiphone Flying V's, the new 2020 model is far better than the ones they've put out before. The rolled fingerboard edges and neat fretwork are just great for comfort, and it stays in tune very well. It's also very lightweight, and usually that means it's a bit neck-heavy, but this version is well balanced and I haven't had any problems with neck dive. Overall, regardless of genre, this is worth a look if you want a V. Plus, zZounds shipped it on a Friday, tracking said expected delivery would be Tuesday, I actually got it that Sunday before.
